SummerFest 15 will make you happy with a live performance by the one and only, Sheryl Crow this Saturday. Brought to you by Mix 107.7 this concert offers cool prizes and more with gates opening at 5:30 PM, and the concert starting about 7:30 PM.

Sheryl Crow is a nine-time Grammy Award winning artist who has performed with the likes of Sting, Mick Jagger and Kenny Rogers. She has sold over 35 million records worldwide and has launched her own clothing line (Bootheel Trading Co). She is a passionate humanitarian and cancer survivor. Some of her most famous singles include, “If It Makes You Happy,” “Everyday Is A Winding Road,” “My Favorite Mistake,” “Soak Up The Sun,” and “Steve McQueen.”

This morning, Mix 107.7 host Jeff Stevens spoke with Crow about her upcoming Fraze performance, her new album, recent CMT performance with Kenny Rogers and more.

Stevens opened the interview acknowledging Crow’s recent CMT performance with Kenny Rogers. Crow gave homage to Kenny Rogers noting his influence on music and notes that he is often forgotten about because he is not in the public eye. Crow shared that Rogers has a new record coming out that he calls “the best thing he’s ever made,” and she looks forward to it.

Speaking of new records, Stevens also acknowledged Crow’s new album Feels Like Home, which will be released on September 10th. Inspired by the community she feels in her new hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, the first single “Easy,” is out now and features notes of the south that have been a popular undertone of Crow’s early work.

Sheryl’s upcoming Fraze performance celebrates the 10th anniversary of the making of her DVD, C’mon America 2003, filmed at Fraze Pavilion over two sold-out performances in July of 2003. Crow remembers Kettering as one of her favorite places to play. After the filming of the DVD, Sheryl and Co. found themselves raising a glass at the Dublin Pub. Memories were made and that’s what makes Kettering “great” in the eyes of Sheryl Crow.

Fans of Crow can expect to hear new music, old favorites and even a few polished early album gems for avid fans.
