That’s how ‘Fraze Fans’ are describing the 2014 season and even though in June it rained 11 of the 18 show days, concert goers didn’t let it “dampen” their spirits or “rain” on their parade.
First, a big thanks to all of you that made it the most sell outs EVER including Santana, Menus, Darius Rucker, Ringo Starr, Earth, Wind & Fire, Casting Crowns, Little Big Town, Under the Sun Tour, Alan Jackson, Avett Brothers, Boney James/Brian Culbertson and The Moody Blues.
And how about all the awesome free Fraze Festivals like Festival of the Vine, a bigger and better Bacon Fest and Kickin’ Chicken Wing Fest, (this bloggers personal favorite), and, of course, Kettering Health Network’s Gospelfest – to return in 2015, I hear.
Big crowd pleasers this summer include $2 Tuesdays and $5 Fridays, plus the inaugural kick-off of the wildly successful “Throwback Thursdays” which featured Simply Diamond, The Purple Xperience, Satisfaction and Let’s Hang On, sponsored by the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission. Look for this series to return next summer.
I can’t forget Cassano’s Pizza King presents ‘The Hit King’ Peter Edward Rose! Emceed by yours truly, it was an absolute joy. Even though it poured down rain the hearty souls in the audience grabbed ponchos and hung with Pete.
And let’s not forget all the wonderful, marvelous, stupendous, one-of-a-kind Fraze volunteers and team members who all make a show at Fraze an experience you’ll never forget.
Now if you’d like to relive the Fraze concert season, just visit the photo gallery at fraze.com for great event pictures. Heck you may even see yourself! Also, check out our video of your friends and neighbors talking about their fun Fraze experiences.
Speaking of fraze.com, visit it often for news and updates on next year’s concert additions and don’t forget Fraze FanFare will re-open inside Town & Country Shopping Center in November. You can pick up hats, t-shirts, hoodies and gift certificates for your favorite loved ones for, you know, that upcoming holiday with the guy in the red suit.
I refuse to say Christmas this early. Rats, I just did!
Again, thanks for all the fun and most importantly, all the great memories!
See you in 2015 for season 24!
Oh and WOW!
